How to make a sponge cake
W.A.L.T write a procedural writing.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- ¾ Cup Chelsea White Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon flower in a cup. Fill up rest of cup with cornflour
- 2 Teaspoon baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon boiling water
Method:
- First you have to separate egg whites from egg yolk. Mix until the mixture is foam.
- Then add sugar bit by bit and keep on mixing. Till the mixture is stiff.
- Add the egg yolks to the mixture.
- Add 1 tablespoon of flour, cornflour and also 2 teaspoon baking powder in a cup.
- Add to mixture keep mixing and add boiling hot water.
- Put the mixture in a round cake tray, bake at 180c for 20-25 minutes
